Role Overview

As a Brand Experience Strategist and Partner at Wells Onyx, you'll serve as a key architect of trust for our clients. You'll work directly with founders, CMOs, and executive teams to develop comprehensive brand strategies that elevate signal clarity, structural integrity, and narrative velocity. You'll translate brand purpose into tangible experience frameworks that transform how audiences feel at every touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership

    • Lead comprehensive brand strategy engagements from discovery through implementation

    • Partner directly with C-suite executives to align brand strategy with business objectives

    • Identify category whitespace and differentiation opportunities for clients

    • Facilitate workshops that extract organizational truths and translate them into market-ready stories

  • Experience Architecture

    • Design multi-dimensional brand experiences that deliver consistent emotional resonance

    • Create frameworks for how brand comes alive across physical, digital, and human touchpoints

    • Develop brand experience blueprints that guide stakeholder behavior and decision-making

    • Translate strategic concepts into concrete brand behavior guidelines

  • Strategic Storytelling

    • Craft distinctive narrative frameworks that accelerate client business objectives

    • Architect message hierarchies that scale from high-level positioning to specific feature benefits

    • Develop fundraising narratives that position ventures confidently to investors

    • Structure brand language systems that maintain signal clarity across channels

  • Business Impact

    • Define success metrics for brand experience initiatives

    • Partner with client teams to ensure successful implementation of strategic recommendations

    • Develop relationships with potential clients and contribute to firm growth

    • Identify opportunities to expand client engagements in ways that add meaningful value

Qualifications

  • Experience & Expertise

    • 7+ years experience in brand strategy, experience design, strategic consulting, or related fields

    • Proven track record developing brand strategies that solve business challenges

    • Experience working directly with executive leadership at growing organizations

    • Background partnering with a diverse range of clients and industries

  • Skills & Capabilities

    • Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to synthesize complex information into clear direction

    • Outstanding facilitation skills for leading productive client workshops and discussions

    • Superior written and verbal communication abilities

    • Strong presentation skills and executive presence
